Will & Ariel Durant

My all-time favourite, and full of quotable lines. The diction challenges you just as much as the concepts it introduces, and it made me think about the world in ways I never had before.

Klara and the Sun

Kazuo Ishiguro

The second Kazuo Ishiguro book I've read, and I admire his style. He holds back the true nature of his characters and reveals it gradually, all while asking tough questions about science and human nature.

Same as Ever

Morgan Housel

Simpler language and a much easier read. It sheds light on the many things people overlook, and it showed me how many of them I had been overlooking myself.

The Infinite Game

Simon Sinek

One of the first business books I read, and it shifted my mindset on competing, long-term goals and business more generally. I keep going back to it because there are new lessons to uncover each time.

Steve Jobs

Walter Isaacson

A look at the man behind the company: how he thought, and how he behaved. It drove home an idea from Morgan Housel, that the people who change the world are often extreme in ways we don't admire too.
